prelims is a collaboration of leading UK and US publishers who have been working together since 2003 to develop a common process to assess social and environmental standards in our product supply chain.
As a group we have, until now, adopted the ICTI CARE process to monitor suppliers in China, Malaysia and Singapore, but, we now feel in a position to articulate a common set of social and environmental standards for our industry, and have therefore developed our own industry Code of Conduct.
We now expect all our product suppliers to commit to working towards the standards set out in this Code of Conduct or to equivalent standards.
